Since the beginning of Gas Money, our company's main goal has been to empower and educate young adults in the areas of leadership, accountability, and communication. On December 10th, 2021, Gas Money co-founders Robert Walker and Austin Pariseau returned to the high school they graduated from, Davison High School, to give a motivational speech on mindset and motivation in front of several different business and marketing classes.
In their speech, they talked about overcoming obstacles, focusing on happiness, and having a positive mindset. These ideals helped them get to where they are today with Gas Money, and they hope that they can pass these messages on to as many young adults as possible.
As Gas Money continues to grow, Walker and Pariseau plan to do many more motivational speeches like this one at high schools and colleges around the nation. As long as they can provide help or guidance to at least one student who may need direction, their mission has been fulfilled.
After winning the Flint SOUP micro-grant, which is a local event designed to raise money for upcoming entrepreneurs in Genesee County, Gas Money was featured in an article by the Flint Beat.
Gas Money is featured as the third business in this article, and more can be read about our first motivational speech and goals within the reading.
